Yu the Great was China's first Dynastic King. The two peaks are called Mt. Taishi (Elder Wife), and Mt. Shaoshi (Younger Wife). Mt. Shaoshi is more famous because of the Shaolin Monastery located on it. Mt. Taishi is also in Dance of Maple Leaves, as the location of Gui Valley, where Gui Gu Zi held court. Fu Ziche came to Mt. Taishi to learn of the primary antagonist Master Shusang's origins, who was one of Gui Gu Zi's disciples.
